As Director of Community Development for the Research Data Alliance – U.S. region, Lynn works within and across numerous data communities to build connections, cross-group awareness, and alignment of activities to support engagement and interoperability of data infrastructure. She is fascinated by transdisciplinary work, community design, and all things metadata. Lynn sees the Arctic data community as a critical test bed for advancing global research connecting domains, and DataARC as a primary example of collaboration as a high-impact mechanism to moving the data community forward. Toward this end, Lynn advises the DataARC team on related activities and lessons learned from other communities, offers a point of connection to the global data community, and contributes examples, advice, and an external perspective to the collaborative design process.
